Every year, the American Association of University Women of Placer County assists women in achieving their leadership goals through collegiate scholarships and grants for middle schoolers seeking STEM skills.

They are recognizing two women who embody the group’s leadership qualities and will host a primetime speech from Sacramento Kings Assistant Coach Nancy Lieberman at the Catta Verdera Country Club in Lincoln at 5:30 p.m. Reps from AAUW explain the organization’s work and we meet this year’s honoree on Insight.
