Melodic hooks, introspective lyrics and soulful vocals are all characteristic traits of the Sacramento band Sea of Bees. These traits have garnered the band national attention and critical acclaim. Sea of Bees is marking the release of its third album with shows in Davis and Sacramento this weekend. 

Capital Public Radio’s James Morrison caught up with lead singer Julie Ann Baenziger and producer John Baccigalluppi to get the story behind the new album, "Build a Boat to the Sun."
