Use of Information
The information collected by Capital Public Radio on our website is used for internal CapRadio station purposes. The use of personal information includes the following: membership management, special event management, editorial and feedback purposes, CapRadio's marketing and promotional purposes, or other internal CapRadio station purposes. By providing this information, a visitor may receive an email from Capital Public Radio in limited circumstances.
CapRadio sometimes shares member mailing addresses with other non-profit organizations which may be of interest. If you do not wish your mailing information shared, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
Credit card information provided for membership purposes is protected with encryption. This information is processed by an outside credit card processing firm.
Sending us an Email
You also may decide to send us personally identifying information, for example, in an electronic mail message containing a question or comment, or by filling out a web form that provides us this information. You can opt-out of email communication by unsubscribing by following a link at the bottom of any e-newsletter message. Transactional messages, such as a receipt for an online donation can not be opted out of.
Under 13: If you are under 13 years of age, please do not send any information about yourself, including your name, address or e-mail address. If we discover that we have collected any personally identifying information from a child under the age of 13, we will remove that information from our database as soon as possible.
13-18: Unless otherwise specified, you must be at least 18 years old in order to participate in online registration. Visitors between the ages of 13 and 18 must obtain permission from their parents or guardians before sending any personally identifying information.
