Part 1: Tensions are high in Jerusalem following the kidnapping and killing of three Israeli teenagers in the West Bank last month and the grisly killing of a Palestinian teenager in Jerusalem last week. People on both sides of the conflict are calling for both peace while others are calling for more violence. The Palestinian teenager who was killed last week has family throughout Northern California, including his cousin Wadha Abukhdeir, who lives in Davis. She joins us in wake of the tit-for-tat violence with David Mandel, a member of the Jewish Voice for Peace. We're also speaking with George Bisharat, a professor at UC Hastings Law who focuses on the Middle East, about continuing clashes in Gaza and the West Bank.

The conversation continues tomorrow with Barry Broad, President of the Board of the Sacramento chapter of the Jewish Federation, and Rabbi Reuvan Taff, a rabbi for the Mosaic Law Congregation.
