The future of nursing remains in flux as many aspects of the industry are rapidly changing. There’s an increased demand for nurses outside of hospitals, the technologies being used are constantly updated and there’s a significant shortage in nurses from what’s needed. Heather Young is the Dean of the Betty Irene Moore School of Nursing at UC Davis opening this Friday, she joins Insight to discuss how the school is adapting to the change in the industry.
