Sierra Snowpack
Did last week’s series of winter storms help rebuild California’s snowpack following a relatively dry January? As people in the foothills continue to dig out from the sudden snowfall, we’ll hear what to expect this weekend from ABC10 Meteorologist Rob Carlmark.
Four Years of the War in Ukraine
The national and spiritual anthems of Ukraine rang out across the State Capitol this week as the Ukrainian community marked four years since Russia’s invasion — calling for an end to the fighting and a peace some will never see. Today, we’ll get a sense of how Ukrainians at home and abroad are weathering the ongoing war. Martin Kuz is a Sacramento-based independent journalist who has traveled to Ukraine multiple times since the start of the war and created the Reporting on Ukraine Substack. Olga Noshyn is a co-organizer for the Sunflower Society, a volunteer group that formed at the start of the war.
