Do workers' unions still have power in the wake of the Supreme Court’s recent decision in Janus v. AFSCME? In the case, the court gave public service employees the right to stop paying any dues or fees to unions while still receiving union-negotiated benefits.
 
Sociologist Ryan Finnigan joins us to talk about the possible consequences of Janus v. AFSCME. You can read some of Finnigan's research on unionization and poverty here.
