There is truly never a dull moment in Washington, DC, which makes covering it a kind of non-stop activity. This week, we’re looking at Congressional hearings.

Tomorrow there’s an Intelligence Committee hearing chaired by California Congressman Adam Schiff called “Lessons from the Mueller Report: Counterintelligence Implications of Volume 1.” The Committee will hear testimony from former Executive Assistant Directors of the National Security Branch of the Federal Bureau of Investigation.

There was a Judiciary Committee hearing about the Mueller Report yesterday, with Nixon-era, former White House Counsel John Dean as a witness. Also on the docket is potential legislation coming out of The Mueller Report’s findings.

Sacramento Bee Washington Correspondent Emily Cadei joins Insight from Washington, DC to talk about legislation surrounding Congressional pay raises and appropriations bills having to do with California water projects. Plus news from the presidential campaign trail.
