Sacramento continued to gather publicly over the weekend to draw attention to gun violence and how police interact with communities of color.
On Friday night, the community gathered in the Meadowview neighborhood to remember Stephon Clark, the 22-year-old who was shot and killed by Sacramento police officers on Sunday. Then on Saturday, gun policy reform activists rallied in front of the California Capitol for the March For Our Lives.
