The California State Fair begins Friday at Cal Expo. The theme this year is the “Best" of California. Highlights include a showcase of the state's best beers and wines, 11 days of thoroughbred racing and a national drone racing championship. The fair is also conserving water during the drought. The main lagoon has been replaced with a dirt bike stunt park. The California State Fair runs through Sunday, July 26.
