Sacramento’s own Ruthie Bolton has become one of America’s most prolific female athletes, a two-time Olympic Gold Medalist and pioneer of the WNBA.
From modest beginnings in Louisiana, Bolton defied odds to become one of Auburn's top scorers and a perennial superstar for U.S. Olympic teams and the Sacramento Monarchs.
However, one of Bolton’s biggest challenges came off the court in a brutal fight with her husband, profiled in the ESPN film Mighty Ruthie.
Ruthie joins Insight to preview a screening of the film at the Golden 1 Center on Tuesday and share her story.
