Sacramento Ballet’s Artistic Director Amy Seiwert and dancer Isabella Vasquez join Insight to discuss the company's production of The Nutcracker. In 2018, Seiwert, who had previously danced with the company, re-joined it as Artistic Director and revamped this classic holiday ballet. Seiwert says she’s had an association with The Nutcracker since she was eight years old, having danced a number of roles.

This production features more than 250 children who dance alongside the professional company. This year performances will be held at Memorial Auditorium December 12-22.
