If you listen to foodies, bloggers, mainstream journalists, local polls, and even a national website, the Sacramento region has a flourishing coffee scene. The real estate site Redfin, in conjunction with FourSquare, put Sacramento among the top 10 cities in the nation for coffee -- and you won’t get much argument here from a bunch of people who do morning radio.
Sacramento is also a good town for festivals and special weeks, so it seems natural that we’ve got the first Sacramento Specialty Coffee Week starting on Monday. Insight speaks with Edie Baker, the owner of Chocolate Fish Coffee Roasters, Sean Kohmescher, the founder of Temple Coffee Roasters and Lucky Rodrigues, co-owner of Insight Coffee Roasters.
