The Department of Motor Vehicles may have messed up voter registrations for 23,000 people. That revelation comes on the heels of another controversy facing the department — extreme wait times for people trying to renew their Driver’s Licenses.

In this week’s Capitol Chat, Capitol Bureau Chief Ben Adler outlines the issues facing the DMV and how lawmakers are working to address it. We’ll also discuss two public safety bills that California District Attorneys are urging Gov. Brown to veto.
