UC Davis Professor Discusses How U.S. Response To Syrian Chemical Attack May Affect Refugees

Eyes have been focused on Syria this week as President Donald Trump considers whether to respond to a chemical attack conducted by the Syrian government on its own people.

Dr. Keith Watenpaugh is a professor at UC Davis and he has worked extensively with Syrian refugees, primarily students, who have fled the years-long fighting in their country.

Watenpaugh spoke with Insight host Beth Ruyak from Beirut, Lebanon, about what a U.S. response might mean for Syrian citizens and refugees.
