Sacramento State University Piano Professor Richard has been praised by the New York Times for his “sensitive pianism” and has performed with orchestras around the world. He was a Teaching Fellow for David Dubal at The Juilliard School for four years and has been a faculty member at Sacramento State University since 1993. Cionco will be performing with the UC Davis University Chorus this Sunday at the Mondavi Center. Maestro Peter Jaffe is conducting the concert that will include Gershwin’s Cuban Overture and Ravel’s Daphnis and Chloe, Suite No. 2.
