Davis-based mystery novelist Catriona McPherson is back with a new stand-alone mystery novel, “The Day She Died.” It comes out May 8 and she’ll be speaking about it Friday, May 9th at the Avid Reader in Davis. McPherson is best-known for her mystery series starring Dandy Gilver. The latest book in that series – “As She Left It” -  was recently nominated for an award from Left Coast Crime, Monterey, and she recently found out that it's a finalist in the ForeWord Reviews Book of the Year category for mysteries, too. We’ll talk with McPherson about her work.
