Assistant City Manager John Dangberg was the first witness in the Sacramento Kings arena subsidy court case that started Monday. A citizens group alleges the city covered up deals it made to attract investors to the arena. City officials say the deals made to would-be investors were publicly debated and disclosed in public documents. The case is the last legal hurdle the city faces in building the new arena and has the potential to derail the project.
