In next week's California primary, 15 counties throughout the state will use vote centers instead of neighborhood polling places. 10 of these counties are making this switch for the first time. 

Throughout the run up to this election, there has been confusion about where and when people can vote and, if they are registered as “no party preference” what that means for their ability to vote in the primary.
