Wind Youth Services Opening New Counseling Center For Homeless Youth

This fall Wind Youth Services will have a new building for counseling services for homeless youth. Golden 1 Credit Union has pledged $1 million over the next three years for the building’s completion, which will offer a health clinic, employment assistance and 24/7 services. How is Wind creating greater outreach as a result of the new building and what are the challenges facing Sacramento’s homeless youth. Suzi Dotson, Executive Director of Wind, returns to Insight to discuss.
