Professor Dan Sperling from UC Davis joins Insight to discuss his book “Three Revolutions.”

The emergence of electric, automated and shared vehicles — and the popularity some of them have found — are seen as signs that the world of transportation could be on the cusp of a more affordable, accessible and sustainable system.

UC Davis professor and transportation expert Daniel Sperling examines these changes in his new book, "Three Revolutions: Steering Automated, Shared, and Electric Vehicles to a Better Future."

Sperling join Insight host Beth Ruyak in studio to discuss how we can guide these transportation revolutions toward an equitable future.

Sperling will host an author event at Avid Reader Davis on Thursday, April 26 at 7:30 p.m.
