Despite lack of legal status and without a path to citizenship, they are making lives for themselves and their families. The public radio documentary weaves together three stories Capital Public Radio has told throughout the year with commentary by Sacramento State assistant professor Heidy Sarabia. CapRadio reporter Julia Mitric hosts the hour-long documentary and reported the story of Juan Morales and his 24-year journey to citizenship.
