Local musical trio Exquisite Corps was born out of a downtown alley garage in the spring of 2011 and released their first album the following year's summer. The band's members, Bryan Valenzuela, Robby Dean, and Nathan Webb, describe their sound as a marriage of classic and modern, merging indie rock with classical string sounds.

The band's second album Vignettes will release at the Witch Room in Sacramento on the evening of September 20th. The show will feature the band's core trio alongside special guests on horns.
