An amazing prodigy, Kerson Leong gained international recognition in 2010 at age 13 when he won the Junior First Prize at the Menuhin Competition in Olso. Since then, the young Canadian violinist has toured the world performing as a soloist with such ensembles as the Oslo Philharmonic, the Vienna Chamber Orchestra and the Toronto Symphony Orchestra.
Leong will join the Stockton Symphony this weekend for the Classics 3 concert. Leong joins Beth Ruyak in studio to talk about his upcoming concert and what it’s like to be an acclaimed musician at such a young age.
