Joseph James DeAngelo pleaded guilty on Monday to a series of murders, rapes, burglaries and kidnappings that dated back to the 1970s.

Nicknamed the East Area Rapist, the Original Night Stalker, and the Golden State Killer, DeAngelo admitted guilt to 13 counts of first-degree murder and special circumstances, and 13 counts of kidnapping. He also acknowledged more than 50 rapes he was not charged for because of California's statute of limitations.

We take a deep dive into the DeAngelo guilty plea with the CapRadio reporter who was in the hearing room, investigator Carol Daly, and more.
