Elizabeth Wallner was an activist who advocated for California's End of Life Option Act. She was diagnosed with advanced colon cancer in 2011. Wallner shared her story on 60 Minutes in March 2016. She died on July 18, 2017 with the help of a legal prescription for life-ending medication prescribed by her doctor under the new law. Beth Ruyak revisits a portion of her conversation with Wallner from June 2017.
