Joseph James DeAngelo, 72, who authorities suspect is the so-called Golden State Killer responsible for at least a dozen murders and 50 rapes in the 1970s and 80s, is wheeled out of the courtroom after his arraignment, Friday, April 27, 2018.

Joseph DeAngelo is back in court Thursday. DeAngelo was arrested last week and charged with crimes attributed the East Area Rapist, also known at the Golden State Killer and the Original Night Stalker. The Sacramento District Attorney has asked for a search warrent to take more DNA samples and full body photos of the suspect. The is considering whether that search warrant will be granted.

Also, attorneys for the family of Stephon Clark released a response to the Sacramento County Coroner’s autopsy report, which was released Tuesday. The county's report called a second autopsy conducted by Dr. Bennet Omalu "erroneous." Omalu was hired to complete an independent autopsy by Stephon Clark's family.

Dr. Omalu says the Clark family approved the release of one black and white photo taken by Dr. Omalu during his autopsy. Omalu claims the photo disputes the official coroner's report.

We've reached out to both the Sacramento Coroner's office and the Clark family for comment.
