Sacramento Choral Society and Orchestra Celebrates 'Jubilate!'

Dr. Donald Kendrick returns with a preview of the Sacramento Choral Society & Orchestra’s 2018-2019 season. The SCSO just released their 10th CD called “Jubilate!” — an album recorded at their May 2018 concert featuring music by Dan Forrest, Antonín Dvořák and Ottorino Respighi.

SCSO is hosting a concert called “Stained Glass: Songs of the Spirit” on Oct. 20 at 8 p.m. at the Fremont Presbyterian Church in Sacramento, featuring works by Mozart, Arvo Pärt and Zoltán Kodàly.

SCSO will also perform two “Home for the Holidays” concerts on Dec. 8 at 2:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.

Disclosure: Capital Public Radio COO & CFO Jun Reina serves on the SCSO Board of Directors as head of Strategic Planning.
