The NPR Tiny Desk contest announced a winner for the 2019 contest last week. Quinn Christopherson of Anchorage, Alaska’s performance of “Erase Me” went viral with a raw vocal performance and a guitar pedal stomp (not) heard round the world.
In the CapRadio listening area, more than a hundred artists submitted their own entries, hoping to make a splash.
Hey, Listen! host Nick Brunner enlisted the help of musician Lilian Frances and producer Camille Escovedo to curate a list of their favorite videos. For this week’s Sound Advice, our panel of Tiny Desk experts features some highlights from this year.
CapRadio is also hosting its second Tiny Desk Concert at the CapRadio Garden on June 1 starting at 6 p.m.
