As 2018 begins, many people are wondering how the new federal tax law will affect them. That includes area non-profits who rely on charitable giving to fund their services.

Noel Kammerman is the executive director of Loaves & Fishes in Sacramento. Loaves & Fishes provides food and services to people dealing with homelessness in the Sacramento region and Kammermann is concerned that a higher standard deductible will led to fewer donations.

Kammerman explains the potential effect of the new tax law on donations to Loaves & Fishes and other community non-profits.
