Davis Enterprise film critic Derrick Bang spent the last four years of his life surveying jazz music in crime, spy and action movies, and television shows. His work would eventually lead to a pair of new books; today we’ll talk with Bang about it.

Classical Tahoe Maestro Joel Revzen also passed away late last month at the age of 74 due to causes related to COVID-19. A friend of the show, Revzen was revered in the classical community. We discuss his legacy and the fund set up in his name.

Guests

  • Davis Enterprise film critic Derrick Bang
  • Classical Tahoe Festival & Music Institute Executive Director Karen Craig
