It was more than a year ago Judge Antonin Scalia died and left a vacancy on the Supreme Court, but his replacement could secure the seat on the high court very soon.
Supreme Court Nominee Neil Gorsuch sat through two days of intense congressional questioning and could continue into Thursday. Gorsuch’s hearing comes amid much controversy; Obama’s nominee, Merrick Garland, was denied a hearing on the court by Republicans for over a year.
