As Co-Artistic Directors Carinne Binda and Ron Cunningham wrap up their 30-year career with the Sacramento Ballet, they have another crucial production this weekend. The classic “Giselle” has been performed by the Sacramento Ballet many times over the years, and this could be their swan song.

Binda reflects back on her history performing the show under the mentorship of the famous ballerina Violette Verdy. Binda explains how Verdy launched Sacramento Ballet onto the international stage and the cultural relevance of "Giselle" today.
