Atmospheric River Brings Rain And Risk To California

An atmospheric river is expected to bring heavy precipitation to California, threatening residents with mudslides and other weather-related emergencies. Meanwhile, burn scars from last year’s historic wildfires mean some parts of the state will be especially vulnerable.

We’ll hear from a panel of experts about what the weather system means and how officials are getting ready for its possible consequences.
