Is The Storm A Drought Buster?


This week's heavy storm was not a drought buster. In fact, it made little impact in relieving California's extreme drought, which is being called the worst California has experienced in 1,200 years. Joining us to explain the type and amount of precipitation California needs to beat the drought is Dr. Kelly Redmond, deputy director and regional climatologist at the Western Regional Climate Center.
