Why should people in California and the rest of the country care so much about the caucuses of an agricultural state with six electoral votes and a population not much bigger than the Sacramento Region?

It tends to favor grass-root activism and insurgents, which skews the odds in favor of candidates like Bernie Sanders, Donald Trump and Ted Cruz.

Reporter Jeff Raimundo will join us to discuss whether or not Iowa is important in the grand scheme of the election process.
