Winner of Sacramento’s “Calling All Dreamers” contest, Ana Manzano, will be opening the doors to her new retail store in Old Sacramento next week. Her business, “Ana Apple,” produces locally handmade toddler and infant clothes using felt made from 100% post-consumer recycled plastic bottles and USA-grown cotton. “Ana Apple” products are currently available online and in select retail stores but this will be her first brick and mortar location. The 1,600 square foot space will include a retail area for selling her products, a workshop for manufacturing her goods and a children’s art studio. Manzano joins us ahead of her soft opening next week. The grand opening of “Ana Apple” is Saturday, April 11.
