Revisiting ‘The Jaguar That Prowls Our Dreams’ By Mary Mackey

Sacramento State professor and poet Mary Mackey shared her new collection “The Jaguars That Prowl Our Dreams: New and Selected Poems 1974 to 2018” on Insight in September. You can see Mary Mackey read from her collection at a joint event with the City of Davis Poet Laureate James Lee Jobe at the South Natomas Library on Saturday, November 17 from 1-3 p.m. Amber Moon Press will distribute printed works by both poets for the audience.

Mary Mackey will also participate in poetry events at:

  • The Dream Institute in Berkeley on Dec. 2 at 3 p.m.
  • John Natsoulas Gallery in Davis on Dec. 6 at 8 p.m.
  • Britt Marie’s Restaurant in Albany on Dec. 9 at 3:30 p.m.
  • Book Passage in Corte Madera on Dec. 16 at 2 p.m.
