Amy Seiwert is in her first season as Artistic Director of Sacramento Ballet, which will begin its run of “Hamlet” on Feb. 15. She’ll join us to preview the production and the rest of the company’s 2018-19 season, which is themed “Roots and Wings.” Christopher Nachtraub also joins, he’s dancing as the tortured title role in this Shakespearean revenge story. Cutting-edge choreography and a minimalist score featuring the music of Philip Glass will round out the show, bringing modern sensibilities to a historic drama.
