Gov. Jerry Brown has asked the California Supreme Court to speed up review of a lawsuit challenging the 2013 Public Employee Pension Reform Act.
One wrinkle: Brown is delaying his decision to fill the seat of retired Justice Kathryn Werdegar, who announced her departure in March 2017.
