Hunger In The Farm-To-Fork Capital

Bob Moffitt

Bob Moffitt

One way to tackle large, universal problems like hunger is to have civil, constructive, collaborative conversations with people in the community affected by the issue. Awareness of a problem is good, but it can be easier to shed light on a situation – and change minds – when people are actually able to meet and talk together. Two people working to shape community conversations in our region – CapRadio’s Community Engagement Coordinator jesikah maria ross and Valley Vision’s Tara Thronson – join us to explain how face-to-face discussion can make a difference.
