Sacramento author and homeless advocate Timothy A. Brown’s new book, “Squatter’s Gold,” came out this year. It’s the first in a planned series called the “Sam White Homeless Mysteries” and it features a time-travelling plot that’s set in Sacramento during both the late nineteenth and early twenty-first centuries.
