Democrats took to the debate stage last week in the first major TV appearance of the 2020 presidential primary. They qualified based on polling and donations under new criteria set by the Democratic National Committee. Polls show former Vice President Joe Biden with a lead over Senators Bernie Sanders, Kamala Harris, Elizabeth Warren, and the rest of the pack.

In this month’s Political Junkie podcast, Ken Rudin recaps the two nights of debate and how the contenders presented themselves. Plus, he dives into that  exchange between California’s U.S. Senator Kamala Harris and Biden over his record supporting civil rights.
