Sacramento musician Christopher Fairman celebrates the release of his fourth studio album with a concert tonight at Harlow's. The album grew out of a Kickstarter campaign, but not in the way you expect.

Fairman bought studio time to help fund Tiny Telephone Oakland, a new all-analog studio in Oakland. Fairman was joined in the studio by fellow musicians Chrisopher Vogel and Andy Miller. They laid down the tracks to six tunes, a mix of old songs that we never recorded and brand new songs that were finished while on the train and in the studio.

Fairman, Vogel and Miller join Beth Ruyak in studio to talk about the album "#Oakland" and perform live in our studio.
