Gene Baur has been called “the conscience of the food movement” by Time magazine. He is the president of Farm Sanctuary, an organization that provides home to hundreds of farm animals each year that were destined for the slaughterhouses or living in industrialized farms. He is also an advocate for better conditions for farm animals and eating a plant-based diet. His new book “Living the Farm Sanctuary Life” explains how to live an animal-friendly lifestyle and features a number of vegan recipes.
