Petite Sacramento French Film Festival Features Three Films

Cécile Mouette Downs, executive director of the Sacramento French Film Festival, has organized the first Mini Fall French Film Festival to take place Sunday. The petite festival features three iconic French films including the 1964 award-winning musical “The Umbrealls of Cherbourg.” This may also be the last time Downs hosts a French film festival at its longtime home, the Crest Theatre. Theater operator CSLM Incorporated lost its lease and is saying au revoir to the Crest at the end of October.
