Sampling with the Pop Warner Coronado Cheer.Kirsten Vincent Photography Do you remember when microbes that were collected from the floor of SleepTrain Arena in Sacramento and the Cal Aggie stadium at UC Davis -- amongst others -- were sent to space in early 2014? They were part of an experiment to measure growth rates in microgravity and they were compared to counterparts kept in a lab at UC Davis. We’ll talk spoke with two of the researchers at the beginning of the project and results are now coming in. We’ll hear from David Coil and Russell Neches about what they’ve discovered.
