Chenin Blanc Grapes Are Making A Comeback In The Sacramento Region

The chenin blanc grape is regaining popularity in California.

Vintners in the Sacramento region and beyond are writing a new chapter for a white wine made from grapes grown in Clarksburg. It's a makeover for Chenin Blanc. In the '70s and '80s, the varietal gained a reputation as "sweet boxed wine?"
