Sac State Food Day began five years ago as a way to plant some new concepts about food in college minds -- ideas about food being healthy, affordable and sustainable. The creator of Food Day on campus is Kristin Kiesel, professor of economics at Sacramento State University.We’ll talk with her about why the university decided to focus on food when it comes to college students.
