Did Sid? The debut mystery novel from a local newscaster is getting rave reviews. Paul Robins, a long-time radio DJ who made the move to early morning television for Fox40, has self-published his first book. “Did Sid?” is set in Sacramento and features a cast of characters that area readers may find recognizable. We talked with Robins about his book and why he decided to set his tale here.

"Plastic, Ahoy!" A new, colorful picture book by Sacramento children's author Patricia Newman focuses on that giant garbage patch floating around in the Pacific Ocean. The book is called “Plastic, Ahoy!” We talked with Newman about her work.

Sacramento Ballet “Wild Sweet Love,” “Wunderland” and a world premiere by Chinese choreographer Ma Cong are the romantic trio of ballets being performed by the Sacramento Ballet this Thursday through Sunday at the Sacramento Community Center Theater. It’s a great idea for a Valentine’s date-night and the co-artistic director of the Sacramento Ballet, Ron Cunningham was in our studio with choreographer Ma Cong.
